On March 4th, in the afternoon, we participated, in partnership with the Social Center of 4 rue d’Annam (Paris 20th), in a natural cosmetics workshop in their premises.
This convivial moment brought together a dozen participants, including young people concerned about the environment. The goal is to discover simple and more planet-friendly alternatives for everyday products.
During the workshop, the participants learned how to make several natural cosmetic products from simple ingredients, a nourishing mango milk and an almond and donkey milk moisturizer. These preparations have shown that it is possible to take care of yourself while limiting packaging, chemical substances and the environmental impact of our hygiene and beauty products.
In a friendly and caring atmosphere, everyone was able to participate in the different stages, experiment with the ingredients and ask questions. The participants left with their preparations, but also with new ideas to adopt more responsible gestures on a daily basis.
This action is part of our Youth Green Compass project, which aims to offer awareness-raising activities accessible to all on environmental issues. Actions like these show young people in particular that simple changes in our habits can help preserve the environment, while rediscovering natural practices that are easy to integrate into everyday life.
