A Collective Moment in Beja
On June 2nd, the city of Beja hosted the international conference “Deconstructing Human Rights”, organized within the framework of the EU Diversity VOICES project, co-funded by the European Union. The event brought together young people, civil society actors, and local institutions to foster open and inclusive dialogue on the evolving meaning of human rights in today’s Europe. Discussions focused on identity, equal access to rights, and the importance of inclusive participation in safeguarding democratic values.
Empowering Voices for Inclusion
The conference also marked the opening of the visual exhibition “Deconstructing Human Rights”, offering a powerful artistic perspective on personal and collective struggles for justice, dignity, and recognition.
Reflections & Next Steps
The following day, a final consortium meeting gathered project partners to reflect on the outcomes of the event and define the next phases of the project. Discussions focused on reinforcing inclusive practices, evaluating local engagement strategies, and preparing for the upcoming EU Diversity VOICES final event in Rome, where project results and impact will be shared with a broader European audience.
