What is S-DIY about?
The Sustainability for Diversity Inclusion within Youth (S-DIY) project aims to promote active engagement in European and global citizenship and contribute to the EU’s implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as prioritized by the Council of the EU and the EU’s youth policy.
S-DIY is committed to educating young people on the topic of the SDGs and environmental sustainability in order to strengthen their sense of initiative by addressing three main objectives:
- To identify good practices on how to foster an inclusive dialogue between young people from different social groups, including minorities ;
- Collect good practices on how to promote youth debate on international sustainability and active European/global citizenship;
- Involve young people from different backgrounds in the SDGs and their implementation in the EU;
- Experiment and test an inclusive simulation model on the implementation of the SDGs in the EU.
