{"id":2469,"date":"2024-11-08T11:56:03","date_gmt":"2024-11-08T10:56:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/associationsolution.org\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=2469"},"modified":"2025-01-09T12:45:03","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T11:45:03","slug":"pharos","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/associationsolution.org\/fr\/projects\/pharos\/","title":{"rendered":"PHAROS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-98a3b0515a50771f549a1a0f2a3fdfb8\"><strong>Partners&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">INTEGRA Filder e.V., Germany, coordinator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">SOROS International House, Lithuania<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Unofficial Media and Training Limited, Ireland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">SOLUTION : Solidarit\u00e9 &amp; Inclusion, France&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Druzhestvo Znanie, Bu\u0142garia&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">DOREA Educational Institute WTF, Cyprus\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The PHAROS project started on the 1st of November 2024 for a duration of 24 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-b0c1a6521bf646b45215dfe67a3bd36c\"><strong>Project&#8217;s objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The aim of the project is to provide mental health support for migrants and refugees, particularly those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It aims to achieve its objective by training community-based advisors and strengthening community access to mental health services and reducing the stigma surrounding these issues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The project\u2019s goals include :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Training mental health advisors among adult migrants through a culturally adapted training program.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Enhancing the skills of adult educators and social workers to better understand the specific mental health challenges faced by migrants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Establishing community-based support networks to facilitate access to mental health services.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-f5035d8eed89b33a3d8a93b3f43e50f3\"><strong>Project&#8217;s results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The project will achieve the following results :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">A curriculum to train mental health advisors, covering topics such as trauma-informed care and self-care techniques including 6 culturally sensitive modules that will address: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">1. Introduction to Mental Health; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">2. Common Mental Health Disorders; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">3. Introduction to Trauma-Informed Care; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">4. Access to Mental Health Services; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">5. Self-Care for Lay Advisors and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">6. Mindfulness and Self-Care for Migrants and Refugees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">A training program to raise educators&#8217; awareness of the mental health challenges migrants face including practical modules for educators addressing: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">1. Foundations of Mental Health Education; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">2. Understanding the Mental Health Concerns of Migrants and Refugees; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">3. Effective Teaching Strategies for Mental Health Education; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">4. Cultural Competence for Mental Health Education; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">5. Facilitation Skills for Sensitive Topics and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">6.
