Description
Walk Alongside You is a European KA2 project coordinated by a German organization, Migration and Development Council e.V.
The overall objective of the project is to support young migrant women in their transition to adulthood by empowering them to acquire the skills necessary for their social and labor market integration.
Project’s objectives
- Develop the intrapersonal and interpersonal skills of young migrant women
- Train young migrant women in fundamental job skills
- Create a digital toolkit for youth workers and young migrant women
- Promote civic engagement and the values of the European Union
Expected results
The project will achieve the following objectives:
- A comprehensive digital toolkit, available in English and the partners’ languages, comprising modules on intrapersonal, interpersonal, and employability skills.
- Workshops in Germany, Spain, and France to test and refine the toolkit’s content with the target group.
- A collection of best practices and case studies from the workshops, which can be shared with other organizations.
- Increased confidence and a clearer career path for young immigrant women participating in the project’s activities.
- A strengthened network of youth organizations equipped with a shared set of tools to support young immigrant women.
