Come and discover and try out the Youth Green Compass board game!

What if you could learn how to tackle major environmental and social challenges whilst playing a game?

As part of the Youth Green Compass project, we have developed an educational board game aimed at young people aged 15 and over. Designed for 3 to 4 players, the game presents challenges inspired by real-life situations and encourages participants to work together to come up with creative solutions.

How does it work?

The principle is simple: in each round, players reveal a challenge card setting out a real-life scenario relating, for example, to climate, biodiversity, energy, transport, agriculture, industry or social inclusion.

Working in teams, they have 5 minutes to discuss the problem, come up with a solution and present it. Thematic cards can also be incorporated to enrich the proposals: the circular economy, collective action, nature-based solutions, inclusion, resilience, advocacy and many other approaches.

And watch out for the Tower!

At the heart of the game is a wooden tower representing our world and its interconnected systems: Nature, Society and the Economy. The decisions made by the players have an impact on the tower’s balance. As the game progresses, the blocks are moved according to the consequences of the proposed solutions.

The aim: to overcome the challenges without causing the tower to collapse!

Come and play with us!
