Every week, Solution Solidarité & Inclusion welcomes women to its Café des Femmes, a friendly and inclusive space dedicated to meeting others, sharing experiences and expressing creativity.
The Café des Femmes is primarily a conversation workshop, where women from different backgrounds can meet over a cup of coffee, talk about their daily lives, share experiences and practise French in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. The aim is to encourage communication, build confidence and create opportunities for women to express themselves freely and progress at their own pace.
But the Café des Femmes is about much more than conversation. Each session also includes artistic and creative activities, such as painting, drawing, crafts, decoration, textile activities and the creation of small objects. These activities provide a natural and enjoyable way to encourage discussion and interaction while discovering new skills and developing creativity.
Beyond the activities themselves, the Café des Femmes offers a moment for participants to take a break from their daily routines and spend time with others. It provides an opportunity to meet new people, build relationships and gradually develop a stronger social network. Collective activities encourage mutual support and allow participants to share their own skills, ideas and knowledge.
The Café des Femmes therefore contributes to tackling social isolation, strengthening social connections and encouraging women’s participation in community life. It is designed as an accessible and welcoming space where everyone can feel comfortable, participate and contribute.
Every week, around a coffee and a creative activity, women come together to meet, talk, create and, above all, do things together.
