Yesterday, March 12, marked a decisive step in our inclusion mission. The Salvation Army (L’Armée du Salut) welcomed us to their premises for an initial meeting, followed by a visit to our own facilities by their team. This reciprocal exchange laid the solid groundwork for a strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to our activities for the most vulnerable populations.

The day began with a tour of L’armée du Salut locations, offering us a concrete look at their daily operations and the profiles of the beneficiaries they support. Subsequently, their representatives discovered our spaces, pedagogical tools, and the environment where our learners thrive. This mutual immersion was essential to establish a common language and identify potential synergies between our two organizations.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to facilitate the integration of Salvation Army beneficiaries into our existing programs. The partnership will focus on three key areas:
- French as a Foreign Language (FFL) Courses: To remove language barriers, the primary driver of daily autonomy.
- Civic Education Classes: To better understand the codes of French society and strengthen civic engagement.
- Cultural Outings and Women’s Café: To open access to culture and foster social inclusion in a friendly atmosphere.
This rapprochement illustrates our commitment to working in a network with historical actors in social action. By pooling our expertise, we hope to offer a smoother and more comprehensive integration pathway.
We warmly thank Richard, Yann and Gabriel from L’armée du Salut for their welcome and dedication. The coming weeks will be dedicated to formalizing this partnership and launching the first civic education sessions.
