Project description

One of the main problems facing people in vulnerable groups, which prevents them from finding a job, changing their social status, reducing the risk of poverty, marginalization and social exclusion, is lack of knowledge, skills, entrepreneurial skills. In their absence, people from vulnerable groups are practically captive, not being able to start a business on their own, to attract public or private funding, to look to a better future with confidence.

The Entrepreneurship can be the solution project intend to carry out the following activities :

  • organizing a study to identify the need for entrepreneurship in vulnerable target groups in the communities in which the partner organizations currently operate;
  • a selection of promoters – a selection of promoters (4 people from each partner organization: staff members, volunteers, collaborators, with experience in working with vulnerable people and with minimal knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship) who will each, jointly or separately, carry out activities promoting entrepreneurship in the communities in which they operate by organizing: public debates, public cafes, information sessions, etc.;
  • elaboration a course support– the course support will be designed and developed jointly by the partners, it will not be an intellectual outputs and will not benefit  from support from outside partner organizations. This course support will contain 2 parts: one related to entrepreneurship and another related to public speaking and advocacy
  • organizing a course on entrepreneurship topics – The course will be supported by lecturers from the Pro Democratia Club Buzau Association with experience and expertise in the field of entrepreneurship and public communication and advocacy. The people selected by each partner to become entrepreneurship promoters will participate in the course (4 people each from each partner organization). Each organization will ensure the presence of a person who will translate the course from English into the language of each participating country.
  • making an awareness plan – the partners will jointly create an “awareness plan” of the benefits that entrepreneurial development brings to vulnerable adults, with a view to their better social inclusion. Based on this “awareness plan” the following activity will be carried out, namely: “awareness campaign”
  • activities to promote –“awareness campaign”- promotion campaign, among vulnerable adults from each participating country, of the benefits that entrepreneurship brings in combating social exclusion. (carried out by the promoters but also by the staff of the project teams of each partner organization)
